Since the makerspace is part of Hub Feenix, with it's food and accommodation options, there are unique opportunities for groups.
Especially for school groups a short daily stay may be the best choice. With a well planned schedule a lot of things can get done in just one day and it affords a good closer look at the many possibilities the makerspace offers.
Maybe as a first step towards a longer stay and bigger project.
Hub Feenix offers accommodation and food for up to 100 people. Thus staying overnight is an easy option and allows larger projects to be tackled.
Maybe rotation of tools or of teams becomes a possibility and thus allows more people to get a chance to try different things out.
Especially for people from further abroad, either in Finland or abroad (Erasmus), staying longer (1-4 weeks) offers the opportunity to get really deep into topics and tackle larger projects.
Since Hub Feenix is also a non-profit, reasonable rates can be negotiated, also for smaller groups.
Another great benefit, especially for groups, is the ready availability of gathering spaces. Spaces with great sound systems or a stage, video projector or seating are all available, for sharing, teaching or presenting.
Also the large outdoor grounds may be used for large projects or for example light (or other) installations.
All larger rooms are listed on the Hub Feenix pages, also accommodation options are explained there.
